1. You must realize that you are a sinner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”<\/em><\/p>\n

2. You must understand that your sin makes you unacceptable to God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death…” <\/em><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 18:4 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”<\/em><\/p>\n

3. You must believe that Christ died for you, in your place, to pay for your sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”<\/em><\/p>\n

4. You must know that you cannot save yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:8, 9 “By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not\u00a0of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” <\/em><\/p>\n

Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…”<\/em><\/p>\n

5. You must believe that only Christ can save you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me…”<\/em><\/p>\n

Acts 4: 12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”<\/em><\/p>\n

6. You must be sorry for your sin, realizing that it is what separates you from God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke 13:3 “But except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”<\/em><\/p>\n

7. Believing, you must pray to God and receive Him as your personal Savior.<\/strong><\/p>\n

John 3: 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”<\/em><\/p>\n

I John 5: 11-12 “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”<\/em><\/p>\n

John I: 12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”<\/em><\/p>\n
