As I looked at our web-page, I was amazed at how long it had been since I had posted anything on it.\u00a0 I knew I was behind in updating sermons, but it has been over a year since I updated the Pastor’s page.\u00a0 Trying to work full time and pastor a church requires a lot of time, but I still know I could have done better if I had really paid attention and managed my time better.\u00a0 That thought reminded me of Paul’s word to the Ephesians; in chapter 5 and verse 16 he exhorts them to redeem the time.\u00a0 I realize time cannot be bought back, but it can be carefully guarded and kept from waste.\u00a0 In the troubled times we live in how important is it to carefully watch over our use of time so that it can be used for the benefit of others.\u00a0 Nehemiah realized this when he told his adversaries he was doing a great work and could not waste time with their foolish requests to come and discuss the legitimacy of\u00a0the project.\u00a0 As Christmas approaches and family events and other things want to distract us lets make sure to guard our time and thoughts so that the precious Lord whose birth we celebrate does not get the leftovers of our time but the best and most of it.<\/p>\n

I pray that each reader will have a blessed Christmas, full of the joy of the Lord and\u00a0a New Year filled with\u00a0the blessings of being useful in His service.\u00a0 My desire is to see\u00a0many saved in the days to come, so would you pray that God would help me be a good witness\u00a0\u00a0of His dear Son.<\/p>\n
